Chris graduated from Northumbria University and has over 15 years' experience in construction and engineering. A professional member of the Engineering Council and technical member of the ICE, he acts as design coordinator and runs the day-to-day operation of the business.
Outside work: sailing, cooking and time with his two children.
Kevin completed his undergraduate studies at Newcastle University and his postgraduate studies at Durham University. From a computer science background, he looks after the behind-the-scenes side of the business, maintaining our systems and website.
Outside work, Kevin is passionate about retro computing and is an avid reader.
Caroline brings over 14 years of experience in marketing and administration, together with a strong understanding of the construction industry gained through growing up in the family business. As a key member of the team, she coordinates projects, and provides essential administrative support across the business.
Outside work: family time and trips to the Lake District.
A registered architect for over 25 years. Kevin has 45 years' experience across private practice and local authorities: designing housing, schools, public and commercial buildings, and leading conservation projects.
Outside work: history, music and family walks in nature.
Eleanor graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in Interior Architecture and has gained experience predominantly in the residential sector.
Outside work: painting, reading and exploring local cafes.
Blake is an architectural assistant with experience in the concept and technical design stages of residential and commercial projects.
Caitlin is an architectural assistant with extensive experience in project management and contracts administration.
Mike holds a B.Eng in Civil Engineering and an M.Sc in Civil & Structural Engineering, with experience across new builds, conversions, alterations, extensions and remedial work to existing structures.
Outside work: urban exploration, photography and the cinema.
Jo graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a first-class honours degree in Architectural Technologies, and prepares planning and building regulation applications for residential and commercial projects.
Outside work: an avid surfer who loves to travel.
Connor holds a First-class BA (Hons) in Architecture and a Master of Architecture (MArch) with Distinction from Leeds Beckett University. He has experience across private residential and care-sector projects, combining a creative design approach with technical knowledge to deliver practical, considered solutions. Connor supports projects through detailed design and technical delivery, with a keen interest in conservation and the relationship between heritage and the built environment.
Outside work: travel, astrophotography and golf.
Tara holds a First-class BA (Hons) in Architecture and a Master of Architecture (MArch) with Distinction. She has a particular interest in conservation, heritage, and retrofit, alongside the technical delivery of projects. Tara enjoys developing practical, well-resolved solutions that balance design quality with technical performance.
Outside work: travelling, reading and painting.
Cameron is a structural engineer with experience in the design of residential and commercial projects. He also surveys property for structural defects.
Ting is an experienced interior designer who joined CR Design after working with renowned architectural firms in London. She holds a degree in Interior Architecture from Northumbria University and an ARB Part 1 Postgraduate Certificate.
Outside work: sketching and oil painting.
