How CR Design Services collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Last updated: 9 July 2026

Who we are

This website is operated by CR Structural Services Ltd, trading as CR Design Services (“we”, “us”), the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at sales@crdesignservices.co.uk, by phone on 0191 645 6000, or by post at Salvus House, Aykley Heads, Durham, DH1 5TS.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide to us directly, such as your name, phone number, email address and postal address, when you make an enquiry, request a quote or use our services. We also automatically collect certain technical information when you visit the site, including your IP address, device information and browser characteristics.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiries, deliver our services, fulfil orders and administer the site. Our lawful bases for processing are legitimate business interests, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and, where relevant, your consent.

Sharing your information

We may share personal data with trusted third-party service providers and vendors who help us operate our business. Data may also transfer as part of a business merger or acquisition. We do not share your information with third parties for their own promotional purposes unless you have authorised us to do so.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies that are necessary for the site to work. If you arrive from one of our online adverts, we also store a small first-party cookie containing the advertising identifier from the link (for example a Google click identifier, or “GCLID”), so that if you make an enquiry we can connect it to the advert that brought you here. This is used only for our own campaign measurement.

With your consent, we additionally use analytics and advertising cookies provided by Google (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads) to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. When you first visit you can choose “Accept all” or “Essential only”; if you choose Essential only, these Google cookies are not loaded. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser. Google processes this data as an independent controller; see Google’s own privacy policy for details.

How long we keep it

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, typically for a maximum of one year unless a longer period is required to meet legal obligations.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us using the details above. If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
